Hi Troops,
Just wanted to take a minute and thank all of my 2004
customers for another great year in the G.I.JOE world. This was a interesting
year because the word got out that our hair sticks to just about anything which
allowed some customers to send in all different knids of figures,....G.I.JOE,
STAR WARS, JOHNNY WEST, MEGO etc,.... We even flock the small 3 3/4 inch joes
if you can imagine that. I also did two Johnny West Buffalos.

The best part about our hair and glue is that you can flock the heads on a
Saturday and take them water skiing on Monday or well maybe just the pool or
tub. We also "REFLOCKED" many of the new 40th heads because of Hasbro's unhappy
customers. Imagine that ,.....we can send men to the moon and bring em back but
Hasbro still cant figure out how to make the hair stick on top of Joe's head
(and stay on).

Hasbro needs to send their heads to Club Hair instead of China (not only do we
have the best Joe hair replacement systems in the world but we guarantee our
work) !!

Rumor has it that we are no longer in business. Hum ?? Not sure how that came
about , but I am here to let you know we are alive and well. It takes between
two - three weeks for most orders. So anyway troops, please feel free to drop
us an email if you have any questions or need some work done. Thanks again and
here's to an even better 2005 !! Craig Blankenship

You are on my "to do" list. I've got a few 40th heads that are in need
of your magic. I've never heard that rumor. However, I've heard only
great things about your service from others.

I can attest that Club Hair for Joe has very much been in business, as
I have, on my display shelf, 4 PH 40th guys on which Craig worked his
mojo, a TC MOA redone as a sea adventurer, and have a 5th 40th PH in
his hopper to be done as a sea adventurer. So if you're still
wondering what to do with those leftover 40th figures obtained from
buying two sets in order to fully equip one soldier, marine, or sailor,
send them off to Craig!

First off, folks might be getting the impression that HCFJ is out of
business because the website hasn't been updated in a while (unless in
the last week or so) and they cut out part of their offerings (replicas
& such). I think they should update the site or something.

Second, the Hair Club does superb work. I can't recommend them higher.
I've had two ME heads flocked and they look incredible. And I'm
about to send off some more.

As for Hasbro, what they've done with flocking of late is simply
unacceptable. The MOAs look okay on the shelf, but I've seen where
these "wigs" have come off. Yuck. The best solution to the head
deformations due to packaging is to send them off ASAP to the Hair
Club.

Flocking wise, the Meijer sets aren't worth it, especially since
they're using those inferior-design 40th heads. It's all the rest that
make those sets worth buying.

Any chance of more replica pieces being offered?

I'd love to see some of the combat construction sets reproduced.
Especially the Jack hammer.

I would love to make more replicas however HASBRO put the squash on me and made
me stop making them. Seams they dont want anyone making a replica of anything
in less it is them. Yes my jack hammers even had a working tip.

While I've been aware that Club hair was still in business, One of the
reasons I never sent any heads in is that my e-mails weren't answered
(not to mention I'm behind on all my projects:lol )
Ok Here's a few questions that may help me and others.

When reflocking a 40th into an AT guy, what is the best hair/eye
combination to use for each AT guy.
Black hair/blue eyes: Land Adventurer, MOA (brunette)?
Blonde hair/Brown eyes: Air Adventurer, MOA (Blonde) ?

Now this is where it gets tricky:
what is the best head to make a Sea Adventurer? since the 40th redhead
has blue eyes and a Sea Adventurer has brown eyes.
would it be beter to use a brown-eyed 40th fig?...which is best?

Other than that.....I do do have some vintage heads that need a
reflock...so I'm glad to get this report:)
